With so many equestrian websites online focused specifically on rider and animal products, Style Reins wanted to create something different. The owner wished to build an online equestrian community and magazine, dedicated to young riders and equestrian fashionistas.
Working closely with the client, we researched the market and business goals to define the target audience personas and create a stream of content that would resonate with Style Reins’ readership.
We worked with the owner to develop a complete brand style guide for the company. This not only provided clear direction and values for the brand but ensured that its new writers and future contributors had a clear set of guidelines to follow; ensuring that house tone was adhered to and there was a consistent brand message portrayed across all content.
To support community growth, our content team also created a number of regular blogs for the site to increase exposure online and fuel social media channels.
With an online solution to match its business strategy, the equestrian brand is now enjoying regular contributor content that matches house style. Style Reins has enjoyed a significant increase in web traffic and has enjoyed much social media success through the content syndicated online. As a result of the work conducted, the business now has a brand book to increase blogger capability without specific training required for tone or brand positioning and has subsequently launched a dedicated magazine.
